Since graduating from the University of Calgary in 1979, Karen has engaged in the general practice of law throughout the Province of Alberta. Karen’s current practice focuses on all aspects of estate matters including advising with respect to estate plans and preparation of wills, enduring powers of attorney and personal directives. Karen also provides advice and assistance with all aspects of estate administration after death. Karen also handles sales and purchases of residential properties, including mortgage financing, as well as transactions involving commercial properties. Karen has extensive experience in family law, effectively representing her clients on all aspects of separation and divorce, parenting and support issues, division of property and preparation of cohabitation and marriage contracts. Karen also has experience in various aspects of construction law, including builders’ liens.
